Gymnothorax longinquus is a moray eel found in coral reefs in the southwest Pacific ocean.[1] It was first named by Whitley in 1948,[1] and is commonly known as the Yellow-gilled reef-eel, Yellow-gilled moray, Brown moray-eel, or the Long moray.[2]
